MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player in the Latin mainstream. In the year 2017 the hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution firm. The album climbed to number 8 in the Top Latin Albums Chart. Vaina Loca, which was the Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In the year 2020, he teamed up with Noriel on Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina in the following year. In 2021, he also performed a duet on TINI's smash streaming single Maldita Foto. He appeared in 2023 with 2000, which featured the hit single La Bachata. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His mother and brother were also musicians. In interviews he has described the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was a kid, he began learning how to play the saxophone, ukulele and piano.
